"The Journey"

I never thought I'd find myself at 43 years old writing a blog post on a website for a pickleball company that I am part owner in. In fact when choosing my life path pickleball wasn't even a thing. It has taken the nation by storm and I have to admit it's incredibly fun to play. It's competitive, it's seemingly simple until you actually start to play of course, but most importantly for me it's a way to relate to some friends that I consider brothers.
For years now our group of friends has communicated digitally across the entirety of the United States. We take trips to meet in person and it has become a part of my life that I wouldn't trade for the world. I think it is rare that a group of adult males can create and value a friendship to this degree.
As our Story states we have always had our eye on a way to engage with each other at a business level. We all have our value and when pickleball became a part of our lives the juices started flowing.
The journey had started and we were locked in. We started researching everything about paddle construction, manufacturing process, sales channels, but most importantly community. We would joke and laugh about the multitude of design ideas and used it as an excuse to plan a trip so we could talk in person about our ideas. We split up the tasks at hand and we quickly became a pickleball business.
As you read this it may appear that it has been all positive and easy but we have had our disagreements as we are all human. The fact is that we are all deeply rooted best friends and so the level of respect we have for each other is unmatched and this allows us to collaborate and overcome differences in vision and viewpoint. This is what makes us successful in our endeavors.
It's not just a business, it's not just a game and these aren't just friends. This is a lifestyle choice and a brand. We want a community to surround our idea and to feel even just a morsel of the joy that we get out of being friends, business partners and passionate entrepreneurs.
